As an old white male who grew up in the very conservative, very religious South, I saw this coming.
I saw how the uber wealthy realized that they must use religion to get the masses on their side.
But how?
How do you make greed sound good and diversity and care for the poor and weak sound bad?
Well, they created the concept of the “prosperity gospel” that preached that money and the love of it is good thing that is “ordained” by God.
Hell with The Ten Commandments and Jesus preaching about the money changers.
Greed, they must make the masses believe, is good.
And they did that with corporate and social media takeovers constantly peddling lies.
And a dumbed down populace, by and large, bought it.
Those of us who didn’t were condemned as woke, Communists, Socialists. Atheists, and “the other”.
Compromise and helping others became considered weak.
Uniformity is now in.
And by that, you must be white straight conservative Christian Republican to be truly valued in America.
Blacks, Hispanics, Gays, non theists, etc. are second class citizens (at best) and public policy should reflect that.
All that was needed was a charismatic charlatan tv show host to lead the way. They found an awesomely moronic useful idiot in Trump. The corporate media then did his cheerleading and created “alternative facts” when the messy truth got in the way.
Facts no longer matter or even exist.
America you are done.
You let them do this.
It is heartbreaking.
My new mantra.
I plan to have shirts, caps, and bumper stickers made up that say the following:
WORSHIP GOD
NOT TRUMP
Though not particularly religious myself, most of those people in my part of Florida are.
They worship and idolize Trump as much or more so that God or Jesus.
I want to flaunt that in their forking faces.
Can we call him the PedoPrez
I know that Orange Taco is fun.
But PedoPrez really zings him.
Do you envy the "blissfully ignorant"?
I sometimes do.
I’m talking about the lalalala types that just seem to be in their own world. They don’t follow politics or world or current events.
They just go through life fairly carefree and take things as they come.
For those who say Biden is same as Trump
I always find it perplexing when Trump supporters say that Biden is just the same or worse thanTrump.
So let’s take a deep dive into that:
Biden was loyal to both of his wives
Biden survived multiple personal tragedies
Biden was a self made man w/no rich parents
Biden is a staunch Christian Catholic
Bidens greatest quality is his empathy
Biden loves all ages of people & loves pets
Biden is not racist, sexist, or homophobic
Biden did not enrich himself through politics
Biden searches for commonality thru compromise
Biden has many Republican friends
Biden admired war hero Sen. John McCain
I could go on and on.
But instead I’d like to challenge any Trump supporters to list his good qualities.
Has anyone seen the new Ohio State documentary
George Clooney expose on the sexual abuse of male athletes has been released by
HBO/MAX.
I’d like to know if former OSU wrestling 🤼 coach and
current GOP Congressman Jim Jordan is mentioned in it by name.
Leaving MAGA free handbook
I came across this website.
It’s about people who have left MAGA and the creator has written a free to download handbook.
I’m going to download a few to leave out in a doctors office I visit and to leave on my coffee table when any MAGA family visit.
Who knows, a few people might read it.

I only need one answer.
Since November 5, I have cut back any or most all interaction with the Trumpers in my life.
Basically the only Trumpers I choose to speak with at all are family members and that’s just on a limited need to know basis.
I’ve just decided that they are people that don’t share my basic values and I’m too old and life is too short to waste on people like that.
Now when I meet someone new in a social situation that wants to become part of my social circle, I say this:
‘‘Before I waste either your time or mine in possibly starting a friendship, I have one question to ask you, who did you vote for President in 2024?”
If they say Trump, then I thank them for their answer and tell them that we’re just not a good match for friendship because our values are so different.
If they say Harris, then I smile and ask them if I can buy them a coffee.
This is so different for the way I was pre Trump. Before him, I had many Republican friends and acquaintances. But Trump has changed that for me. I just can’t deal with them any longer. My social circle is much smaller but so is my stress level.
Anybody else feel this way?

Besides anything that truly mattered to me is no longer attainable. I will merely exist until death comes.
I hate America and Americans.
