6. I got a response from a Congressional representative whose district lies close to mine

by using the address of my daughter and son-in-law, who live in that district. They have a trans daughter whose continuing care was in peril earlier this year. I was upfront and admitted that I didn't live in that district but that I was contacting on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law who are overwhelmed at present. Now I get regular email from the representative, and, amazingly, the emails never ask for contributions!
