Especially considering how easy it is to feel hopeless in the face of Trump’s policies that have hit so many of us on a visceral level.

Look at Jimmy Kimmel!!!

2. We need to call our reps in our districts. I've called ALL GOP senators several times (pretending to be a local constituent) and it takes only 5 minutes to make a call. If you want details on how to call reps in GOP states and districts I can tell you how to do it. It works like a charm. I learned about it at an an anti-tRump protest in 2017.

3. Also, from my observations and experiences (I joined Indivisible in 2017) the senior citizens are finally waking up and smelling the coffee since these current issues effect them and their pocketbooks (gee, what a surprise!). Gun control, Pro-choice, Climate Change, etc were not important to their personal lives yet Social Security and affordable health care are. They care when THEIR issues are addressed.

I never stopped resisting and I will never stop resisting.

We MUST do everything we can since 3 more years of this will be the end of the USA as we know it and I am being realistic.

by using the address of my daughter and son-in-law, who live in that district. They have a trans daughter whose continuing care was in peril earlier this year. I was upfront and admitted that I didn't live in that district but that I was contacting on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law who are overwhelmed at present. Now I get regular email from the representative, and, amazingly, the emails never ask for contributions!

She told me to go to Zillow (a real estate site) and go to the state (senators) and congress members' specific district. From there you can find all sorts of addresses that you can use in case a staffer asks you for your address (they never do) and a phone number's area code can be from any state since people move and keep the same phone number.

My niece worked as a staffer for my congressman in DC and she said that they DO look at what their constituents are saying.

Works like a charm! Also, I always say that "all of my family, friends and co-workers (teachers...they seem to take teachers more seriously) are all upset and agree on this issue".

If you can't get a staffer then leave a message from your cell phone (once again the call could be from Anywhere USA).
