Merlin seems to finally be transitioning out of kittenhood [View all]

He went from a little fur baby who loved to snuggle up against my neck, to a VERY aggressively playful toddler. I couldn't walk down the hallway without him pouncing and grabbing me with EVERY claw engaged and then start chomping.

Now he's still very playful but has cut back on the aggression. He still likes to latch on to my leg but with claws withdrawn. He still likes to chomp on my arm but he isn't really using his teeth as meat tenderizers. And now he's back to curling up on me with his head nestled beneath my chin and purring. Most mornings he wakes me up with a nuzzle.

There's a floor length mirror in the hallway. He doesn't attack his reflection but he does stretch out and admire himself.

I'm thankful every day that I found him when I did.
