We've watched British Castles and most of the seasons of Escape to the Country. Had we been able to see this series in our 20's right out of school I think we would both have tried our best to immigrate to England. I love the restored homes and villages and pubs - so different than our towns here in America dominated by big box stores and signs everywhere.

I also prefer most movies and series that have British actors or produced by the BBC.
