I think the 'Yay crowd" might have been from the cartoon 'Tom Slick" but it could have been either of the two you mentioned.
I, too, miss Bob (SCE) and his Sunday LOLcats, it was my favorite part of Sunday mornings, one of the things that made me stop lurking so I could rec his posts every week.
Hope you are holding up okay, I finally got an apartment in Maine and am glad to be back on the east coast, where I had not considered returning to until a couple years ago. I just hope we can keep our country for another hundred years or so. I am glad to be able to help vote concerned susan out of office, though.
