5. Your housing price estimates are low

Home prices are high in Coronado because of two factors.

1. We have limited land space to build and that makes what is available expensive.
2. Location, location, location. Given the choice of living in Coronado or somewhere else in San Diego County most people, IMO, would choose Coronado.

Home prices for the smallest homes start around $1 million.

I'm not rich but I was able to buy my condo in 2002 just as housing prices started rising. Since then, it's value has more than doubled. I could sell and live comfortably somewhere else but I'm not giving up living here unless I'm forced to. It's expensive to live here but it's worth every penny.
