9. We have a brother-sister pair of Siamese-mix kittens...

...that we got from a small shelter in Janesville, WI, about an hour away from where we live in northern Illinois. They are almost not kittens anymore, as they are 10 1/2 months old.

They look purebred, but their mom was a tortie, so they are definitely not. The sister is a seal point with bright blue eyes, and the brother is a blue point, with paler blue eyes. The mom had 6 kittens, two of whom did not survive when someone dumped the family outside in the freezing cold of the Wisconsin winter. The woman who runs this small shelter told us that the other 2 surviving kittens were one gray one, and one tortie like mom.
