Put it in the oven until it's soft all the way through? That's much simpler than the fancy microwave shenanigans you had to ask your wife about! A child could make a true baked potato.

And for god's sake don't wrap aluminum foil around it!

Shame on all of you potato microwavers! You don't know what you're missing!
