Microwaved potatoes have that sort of shine to their insides, while *true* baked potatoes are dry and flaky--and much more delicious.

I do enjoy your photos of food, LC, but I have to tell you I am sorely disappointed in this. In fact, I think you should change the title of your OP; "baked" is misleading and frankly untrue in this case.

I feel very sad right now.
