Do you suffer shame and embarrassment due to a stinky smelly toolbox? [View all]

Every one of my tool boxes and tool chests stink.

Every time I open one, it's like I'm getting a whiff of the former guy.

And they have smelled the same way for 50 years.

I finally read something about this. It seems to be a common problem.

The cause is likely coming from the plastic handles on old Craftsman brand screwdrivers.

There's a chemical the particular plastic that they used that transforms when you keep it in an enclosed space, therefore causing the smell.

If you Google this, you'll probably find out how to make the smell go away, but I'm just going to let mine stink.

Or maybe I'll just donate them to a friend that doesn't have many tools, and let him find about about the stink himself.
