then I would agree with you.

But a guerilla war is possible. Even I, with no military experience, can think of strategic targets and methods of attack that could be carried out with impunity. How do you fight back against people that you can't see or identify? How do you protect infrastructure and individuals when you don't know which is the next target?

There are members of the National Guard, active regular military, police, and former active military who support Trump and the idea of civil war on his behalf. Think of hundreds (or thousands) of Timothy McVeigh characters looking forward to the fight. Just like before J6, people are mistaken if they refer to all MAGAs as couch potatoes. Even after J6, there are RW extremists who are committed enough to their "cause" to keep on fighting.

We cannot allow ourselves to be intimidated into backing down. But we'd be fools not to be prepared for escalating violence. I'm sure that our national security agencies are aware.
