6. At it's core, I fully agree, but for many, I think it runs even deeper than that

Just as "woke" expanded to include empathy for other groups that suffered systemic social bigotry, "anti-woke" also expanded up to Musk/Vance levels of disparaging the entire concept of empathy. Right-wing demagogues use this to create and leverage resentment that public policy and some tax money goes to making life better for "them" so it's money and policy that doesn't benefit "us." IMO, a stratified society is present in any viewpoint that can be called "right wing."
