I've suspected long ago that they are working together. Ever since the Helsinki secret talks. When they meet, its to exchange information they can each use. For Trump its to use against his political enemies, and for Putin, its top secret Ukrainian information to help with the war.
That or its negotiations on joint investments in crypto or other shady ventures to consolidate much of the worlds wealth.

Not one minute is spend on demanding Putin withdraw his forces from Ukraine
