with the now-hundreds of lawsuits that have been filed, the vast majority of the adverse actions have been thwarted by the lower courts and in the scheme of things, just a handful of "high profile" ones have made it to Roberts to overrule (purportedly "for now" ).

So for some things, they ARE "following the law" and in many cases, haven't pursued appeals or if they did, those haven't moved anywhere quickly. But in this "flood the zone" era, it's hard to keep track of what is where.

The GOP has the megaphone media to make it seem that "the majority" approve of what they are doing and you are really starting to see the squirming and pretzel-twisting going on in their ranks having realized they had no "exit strategy".

In the meantime, clawing back power in many of our states in elections that happen THIS YEAR is what needs to be the focus.
