3. And it's not just the millions who will lose healthcare coverage.

If someone loses their ACA plan and gets rushed to the hospital, they're still going to get treated. But the cost of that treatment doesn't vanish. It will get passed along as much higher insurance costs for the rest of us. That's not even counting the impact on rural hospitals. Many will simply have to close. Though I live in rural New England, I'm still within easy driving distance of a research and teaching hospital. It will be impacted, certainly, but not closed. Same for much of Blue America, and those close to major cities. Healthcare will be much more expensive, but it will still be there. In ruby red, Bum Fuck Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, et al., it's a whole other story. The nearest treatment facility may be hours away if Repukes get their way. Another case of magats stupidly screwing themselves.

At it's heart, this is Repukes trying to kill the ACA through the backdoor, because they know trying that again through the front door would be a disaster for them.
