Kamala Harris agrees to first Fox News interview Wednesday [View all]

With three weeks left until Election Day, and amid a packed campaign schedule, Vice President Kamala Harris will sit for her first interview with Fox News.

The network announced Monday that its chief political anchor Bret Baier will interview Harris on Wednesday in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state. Their conversation will be prerecorded in the afternoon and will air later that night on Baier's "Special Report" at 6 p.m. ET.

The Democratic presidential candidate's decision to sit for the interview comes after the network invited the presidential frontrunners to debate in late October. Republican nominee former President Donald Trump declined that invitation after their first matchup in September.

Since launching her bid for the White House, Harris has received criticism for not accepting many sit-down interviews with traditional news outlets. She has ramped up media appearances in recent weeks, including a "60 Minutes" interview that aired last Monday.
