he is displaying a profound ignorance of labor laws in this country. It just doesn't work that way. Makes you wonder how ignorant he is about other things. Probably lots of other things.

The Air Traffic Controllers were an easy target for Reagan because they had signed a no-strike clause which made them vulnerable to firing. The UAW will sign a no-strike clause just after someone proves the moon is made of green cheese.
