You can have object lessons (those that happen to others) or subject lessons (those that happen to you)

I wish none of my personal lessons on others ... I do not have to lose my own child to know the pain that others feel ..

Being strong and being tough are different ... I can be strong without being tough ...

I will never ever give anyone else the power to determine my life .. it will not be wrenched from my soul by any means.

Those who do not own their own destiny will forever be blown by the winds ... and then complain

That, to me, is sad and I have nothing but pity for them.

You do not know me, I understand that. I do not know you. Perhaps I should. Maybe there would be much to learn from each other.

I love people who are different from me. They are gusts of fresh air. They bring new thoughts, ideas and wonder to my world. If all I hear are my own thoughts, I become bored and tired of me. I am always glad the world is filled with others, they make me grow and learn.

Yet, I cannot abide users and abusers ... they merely seek to aggrandize themselves .. and take advantage of situations to make themselves more important without truly being additive.
