Former reporter accuses Cuomo of sexual harassment

I'm going to get bashed for this, I know, but as I was reading that I thought "Gee, how many times did something similar happen to me at company parties, etc." Sounds a bit misogynistic but not overtly sexual. Obviously it felt differently to HER so I'm not discounting she felt extremely awkward and sounds like she felt belittled, but that doesn't mean Cuomo meant it to be a sexual overture.

When someone had too much to drink at our office parties and did something similar (I work in a very male dominated field), I'd just put them in their place. Let the know right then and there to cut that sh*t out. Never felt like I had to just smile and take it.

Everyone is different of course. Again, not 'blaming' the reporter just saying that what seems like a sexual overture might have been a mere misogynistic gesture of an old of touch old fart who made a ham-handed attempt at a joke and assumed she would think it was funny. Perhaps he saw she was uncomfortable and tried to diffuse the moment but to her it came off as him mocking her.
