Ukrainian Jewish Committee: Russian claims of anti-Semitism in Crimea are lies, propaganda

Russian Jewish leader urges silence over Crimea

Apprehension grips the Crimean Jewish community

Wie antisemitisch sind die Maidan-Demonstranten? (takeaway: antisemitism used by both sides, but Ukrainian Jews are cautiously supportive of the change in government.)

La Russie contre Maïdan (takeaway: Yanukovitch's government also used antisemitic slurs to discredit protesters)

We Jews feel vulnerable around times of political turmoil, and with good reason. However, using that to pick winners and losers is really no better than Republicans who claim that affirmative action and abortion and types of discrimination against African-Americans.

And if anyone is concerned about the treatment of minorities in Urkaine, even in Crimea, demand the safe entry of monitors.
