3. Factors that could change that....

Democrats need a higher turnout rate.....laziness, despair, “better things to do” has become the norm among many Dems. If every black and Hispanic registered voter in the South actually showed up to vote in every election, then along with the whites who vote Democrat, Republicans would never win again, except in heavily gerrymandered or legitimately majority white districts.

Republicans appeal to racism, sexism and pretend to appeal to conservative religious values, that will not change anytime soon so. This is where the 18-29 vote becomes so important. They have grown up in a more diverse society, tend to be less prejudice, and less religiously affiliated.

I think, similar to after the George W. Bush administration, the Trump admin. will be considered so bad that whomever the Dem candidate is will have a very good chance....at least I hope so. ☮
