3. He goes nowhere until the court rules on dismissal of the criminal charges for vindictive prosecution. Hearing 11/3.

Judge Waverly Crenshaw Jr., previously granted Abrego Garcia a hearing on his vindictive prosecution claim.

Crenshaw found there was a "realistic likelihood of vindictiveness" based on the timing of the criminal charges, which came over two years after the traffic stop and shortly after Abrego Garcia's lawsuit gained national attention.

I need to get my head back in this case. I am mystified that they are trying to deport him. If they believed in the criminal case, wouldn't they want him here to appear when it is scheduled to begin 1/27/2026?

Or are they so sure the case will be dismissed as vindictive that they are setting up next steps?
