We tried to talk him out of the keys ,even took them ( he had spares )
He threatened to move in with whoever took them away … we discussed it among us , and my late brother spoke with his Dr . She referred it to the DMV/ Highway patrol .
They wrote him and required him to take a driving test , and that was that. They took his license . Then we drove him wherever he needed to go be , or go , or just did his shopping for him . He was 92 .
He didn’t have any accidents or tickets , but we realized if he did cause an accident and we were aware of his driving , we would all be held responsible too.
He did live to 98 3/4 yrs but not happy at all at losing his wheels . He brought it up all the time .

I ended up with his car , and am keeping it until the wheels come off
He loved that car .
