Netanyahu was under massive pressure regarding the remaining hostages, and the IDF was making no progress on that front and was, in fact, taking heavier than expecting casualties in their new offensive. Netanyahu knew he couldn't free the hostages without a ground offensive, and the IDF ground offensive was stalled again in Gaza City. With the hostages free, Netanyahu is free to bomb at will without risking more troops.

Trump thought he could make a last minute push for a Nobel Prize. Hamas wanted a ceasefire and the aid blockade to be lifted. That was the extent of all of it. There is no Peace Plan. There was a temporary deal for the exchange of hostages and aid.
