I know what you mean...I'm in deep blue L.A. County but will never forget the LAPD turning a TANK, yes an actual TANK, towards us at an anti-war protest at the Westwood Federal Building back during W's reign of error. (Oh lawd, we thought HE was bad...and, I mean, he was...Exhibit A, John Roberts and Scalito...but...)
