If physically confronted, just sit on the ground, with your hands folded in your lap.........

if you carry plastic bottles of water, poke holes in the lid, (in advance), to use on your eyes to help with the tear gas..........
Do Not Rub Your Eyes, just rinse your eyes and face continuously with water......
