He voted for Trump because his extreme sect of Lutherans has influenced his thinking. Honestly, I never met a Lutheran like this but I live in a deep blue CT city, New Haven. He lives nearby and was recommended by a former professor of mine. He is resume building and gives me expert service here at home and charges only $35 per hour. He is learning about art from me and it is enriching his life, based on what his reactions are to the art projects we work on (he was in awe of a Matisse I had shown him).
I've kept my mouth shut about politics but I think he regards Trump as a friendly force. But he has a form of dykenesia which is sometimes evident and sometimes controlled. I'll bet he is on medication to control his head and body jerking.
He is thinking about moving to Texas. I'd hate to lose his services but honestly, I think he'd be happier in a red state. However, I wonder if his meds would become much more expensive in a red state.
OTOH, I guess he'll have to find out for himself...
