Seriously?

There have been countless incidents of falsehoods being posted at DU, many making the top of the Greatest Page despite being proven to be false. It happens almost daily.

People don’t necessarily make up lies, but they post stories that say things they believe to be true, or want to be true, which then get recced without further questioning or examination.

A significant portion of the clickbait videos that get posted fall into this category.
