...from Americans once her supply of drugs she could steal from patients ran out, but she just couldn't find a good made-in-America dealer--so she turned to Mexicans. But if they hadn't been there then that would've been the end of the story? She wouldn't have turned to the Hondurans or Guatemalans? She wouldn't have looked to Canadians or some Asian source?

Let's help Shady make this an accurate statement:
My mother got the drugs that almost killed her from Mexicans because she was either failed by the support systems around her or she ignored them in a self-destructive quest to feed her own addicted mind and body. She would have gotten them from wherever she could find them.

But by all means, offer up a scapegoat and justify violence against them. That seems to be your addiction now doesn't it?
