The original source seems to be Lev Parnas, who offers no more than a vague quote of someone else. Most of the 20-30 articles I have found quote him explicitly as if his assertions were fact, even though he has no direct knowledge. The remaining articles don't name him, but quote the words from his post.

If true, it is problematic for a lot or reasons (bugginess of AI, surveillance at a mandatory meeting, etc.) And I wouldn't put it past him to try it.

BUT I can find no reliable source which indicates he actually is using AI to detect loyalty. And Lev Parnas has a history of being less than honest when it serves his interests (he has a fraud conviction).
