Trump Used AI to Scan U.S. Generals' Faces for Loyalty -- and to Root Out Whistleblowers -- Lev Parnas

https://levremembers.substack.com/p/breaking-trump-used-ai-to-scan-us

On the Jewish Day of Atonement, America Must Reckon With a President Who Never Repents

. . .

After breaking fast tonight, while preparing for dinner and catching up on the flood of missed calls and messages, I heard from sources I trust. And what I heard stopped me cold.

The reason Trump and Pete Hegseth gathered all those generals in one room was not just about a loyalty speech or a pep rally. I’m hearing that the Trump team used artificial intelligence and facial-recognition technology during those briefings to monitor the generals’ reactions in real time. Every eyebrow raise, every flicker of doubt, every moment of discomfort was scanned and analyzed by an algorithm designed to detect who would obey orders without question—and who might resist.

I’m also hearing from my sources that this isn’t limited to the generals. This same technology is being used as a tool inside Trump’s orbit — a quiet weapon of power, deployed by his loyalists to identify and weed out whistleblowers and anyone who isn’t completely obedient. This is how authoritarian power consolidates itself — by quietly monitoring every reaction, every hesitation, every private doubt, and turning it into a scorecard of allegiance.

This is the quiet introduction of a new loyalty test: not just pledging allegiance to Trump, but being scanned and scored by AI for obedience. It’s the kind of surveillance authoritarian regimes use to root out dissent before it begins. And now it’s being deployed against the highest levels of America’s own military leadership.

This isn’t just unprecedented—it’s terrifying. It is the fusion of authoritarian power with the tools of modern surveillance. And it’s happening here, in our country, under our eyes.

There is no way that tech is close to being accurate or dependable.

These things instill fear and get "disloyal" people to hide or quit before they get caught.

Consider, for comparison, lie detector tests. Some credence to them, but not always reliable. That doesn’t stop some from using them and considering the results completely accurate (when they get the desired result).

The original source seems to be Lev Parnas, who offers no more than a vague quote of someone else. Most of the 20-30 articles I have found quote him explicitly as if his assertions were fact, even though he has no direct knowledge. The remaining articles don't name him, but quote the words from his post.

If true, it is problematic for a lot or reasons (bugginess of AI, surveillance at a mandatory meeting, etc.) And I wouldn't put it past him to try it.

BUT I can find no reliable source which indicates he actually is using AI to detect loyalty. And Lev Parnas has a history of being less than honest when it serves his interests (he has a fraud conviction).

Dry throat ? Take a swig or sit it out.

Guzzle some soda beforehand and belch ? Probably didn't happen with this group. Wish I were there.

Even if the technology doesn't really work as described, if the Trump regime believed it was accurate when trying to use it (and I wouldn't be surprised if they did), they'd still be making decisions based on the unreliable results and that is a danger.

But when has making decisions based on factually accurate information ever been a thing that Republicans in general, and MAGA specifically, have ever been concerned about?

31. AI Loyalty Test
Sat Oct 4, 2025, 04:09 PM
Saturday

In a room where the generals sat tight,
AI scanned each blink and each bite,
With each glance it would rate,
Who’d obey, who might wait—
A new test for allegiance by sight.

In silence, the watchers took note,
While machines gauged the doubts they won't quote.
Each expression was scored,
For obedience stored—
A regime taking shape by remote.

They assembled the brass in one place,
With a calm, calculating face.
But behind every screen,
An AI watched unseen—
Scoring loyalty, doubt, and disgrace.

Each twitch of an eye, every frown,
Was tracked as the data streamed down.
No questions allowed,
No thoughts spoken loud—
Just silence beneath the gold crown.

A code marked the strong from the weak,
Those steady, and those who might speak.
It sifted through fear,
To make traitors clear—
Before they could challenge or leak.

Not just for the uniforms pressed—
This tech is now widely possessed.
In halls and in phones,
It scans for disowned—
A test for who passes the quest.

Obedience now is the key,
Measured coldly by circuitry.
No need for a jail,
When your face tells the tale—
And dissent is erased silently.

Even if they just recorded it in hi def, it could be used in the future when the rapidly advancing tech becomes more reliable; although, as noted above, even now reliability doesn't matter, because just the threat is enough.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Stephen Miller let this rumour get out.
