I worked for Gene McCarthy in the 1968 primary election, but when Bobby Kennedy was assassinated, I voted against known dirty trickster Dick Nixon.

Since the first year I could vote I never took my eyes off the prize, and in my mind the GOP has made it easy to vote against the GOP. The Dems are not perfect and they are not saints, though some are exceptional. But by gods, the Dems never foisted on us: Dick Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bush Senior, Dubya, or Donald Trump.
