This had been my plan exactly. My policy was basically, if it's not food or something I used daily (e.g. toothpaste, my dog's needs, although these were all among the things I stockpiled so probably won't need for at least four to six months), it's not coming in the house for the foreseeable future.
Now, basically, I panicked and began to do a little last minute ordering. So that's on me.
My ordering should be complete by the middle of next week and I can probably go a year just ordering the very basics of fresh food (food you can't store), my dog's prescription diet and medication, and any emergency that comes up.
