I never disputed that the wealthy have a better shot at getting in, but the outcomes for the overall make-up, at the end of the day, is more expansive demographically.

I gave you concrete evidence of that in my reply, with data from one of the most elite unis on the planet. I also addressed the legacy factor (which I do have issues with, to be sure).

Is the elite uni admissions process fair? No, not at all, but that is not the measure of what I stated.

The elite schools' student demographics are simply not exclusively or near exclusively made up of students from the very rich.
