7. I did not know about or notice the pink buses

when I was in Jakarta. I took taxis everywhere, so public transport wasn’t on my radar.

What I did notice, though, and what the screen grab below (from the video originally posted) shows, is the absolute mad crush of motorbikes on the city streets at rush hour. And many of those motorbikes are rideshares! That’s the way many people get around, and there were almost as many women riders as men. I guess there’s less chance of getting groped by a guy driving a motorbike in that mess, than on a bus.
