5. Depends on how tight you tie it.

Sheesh!

I've worn a necktie to work every day for thirteen years. I think in my line of work, if I was exhibiting brain dysfunction, it would have shown by now.

I wear a properly-sized collar, and tie my tie neatly, but loosely. No problem. Every time I hear some guy say "I don't like ties, man; they choke me", I want to smack them upside the head and say "No! YOU are choking you! Loosen your tie!"

The same goes for all tailored clothing (which I love; I have the wardrobe of my dreams). Tailored clothing should be as comfortable as casual clothing. if it's not, it's poorly tailored.
