Never served, but paid $50 to ride in a "scout helicopter" (LOACH?) to see what I missed

I was only passenger. Pilot asked me "is this your first time in a helicopter!" I answered yes. He replied "Hopefully it won't be your last."

He asked if I wanted to feel the speed, I said definitely

He dipped down low to the trees. Holy f##@!
Then he did a bank so steep that I was looking straight down at him on my right, my body straining on the harness. (Pilot seat is in the right )

This is the bird I flew in. A civilian helicopter, but similar in appearance to the O6 Cayuse of Vietnam fame. (But nowhere near the performance ) Used a lot by police as an observation/pursuit helo.
