I was foreman on a jury in 2008/09. 3rd degree murder was among the charges, but although every member of the jury was personally sure that the defendant was guilty, was all agreed that the prosecution failed to prove it.

It was remarkable to see, because we had a wide range of attitudes and political views, yet we stepped up and did our duty.


Can't say that I'd love to do it over and over again, but it was very interesting to serve.
