11. Jews Are Not A Monolith, Ma'am

There are fascists among Jews. There are fascist strains in Israeli politics. Dislike of democracy is widespread, and especially when it does not deliver some much desired result, has a powerful attraction.

We are accustomed to see anti-semitism as a basic element of fascism, but not everyone sees it that way. Some think fascism has 'outgrown' that. Others think they will secure a privileged position for themselves. There may even be a few who feel overthrow of the democratic order worth any sacrifice.
