10. Refusing to let me self-identify is bollocks. Like hell if I am going to be wilfully reduced

to my uterus or my menstrual processes.

No one has that right.

My being, my body, my identity, my choice.

I am a cis woman.

I also am a lesbian, and mixed race black. I can add or not add any of those to my own self-labelling as I wish.

My go-to is usually 'lesbian of colour'.

I refuse to have my own autonomy stripped.

I refuse to allow anyone to wilfully re-label me against my wishes.

Not happening.
