30. This gives me a bit of the creeps

The CCP is under a lot of pressure on a lot of fronts both domestically and internationally. This sudden uptick in events using passive technology has the feel of an exploratory expedition. Like they're looking for something they can exploit.

I'm going on 71 this summer and as long as I can remember the world has been perched on a ledge looking down at the abyss in one way or another. I've marveled that we've managed to avoid falling or being pushed off that ledge for this long.

Hope luck holds for the younger folk coming up behind us oldsters, in the last half century we sure have developed ways to f*ck things up totally for them.
