The scenario you outlined is a guess in response to a guess, and the sequence of events to come is most likely to not resemble any of it. Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems you fear that the charges against Trump will end with the stolen documents. There is no indication whatsoever that this would be the case. Even if one takes your assumption at their face value, starting with charges for stealing classified documents is certainly no indication that the process will end with them. Were Trump to be prosecuted for plotting the coup first, it would have been just as illogical to presume that he would not be prosecuted for stolen documents later.

At this point, there is no reason to prefer or fear one sequence of events over another. They are all hypothetical. And there are too many hypotheticals being thrown around at this point to get angry at them all.
