(39,118 posts)And I believe that going after the stolen documents charge first is doing it backwards. Chump committed many crimes before he moved out of the White House. But when he vacated the premises and walked off with the sensitive national secrets, well that was right under our noses.
I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV.
So I can only guess that the DoJ wants to prosecute Chump for the stolen documents first because it's the easiest to prove and to get him convicted on. Am I right?
But just because it's the easiest one doesn't mean it should stop there. It's going to be a lot more work to get him on the failed coup attempt, and other crimes. What makes me angry is I fear those things will eventually get swept under the rug. Just like Nixon got his secret pardon from Gerald Ford, and Nixon was already hopping on his helicopter and flying away before we knew what happened. Every Repuke President since Nixon has pushed it a little farther and gotten away with even more.
Doesn't that make you angry? It should.
