29. A guy I knew tried to commit suicide by

Sealing doors and windows, then turning on the gas. He probably wasn’t a detail man because he forgot to turn off the pilot lights. The explosion blew him out his second story window. He landed in the street in front of his apartment. He was successful at killing himself, but he didn’t envision that ending.

He was bipolar and would go off his meds. At times he would just stand there, all glassy eyed and grinning broadly. He hated the Lithium they gave him, and I guess he couldn’t see living that way for decades to come. When he was medicated he was a good guy.
