98. Man, why do you live there?

Your response to every positive post about the Democrats or voter turn out is to throw cold water on it then tell us some tale about local Texans not being on it.
I find myself wondering why you would bother to live is such a place with such pathetically lethargic people, who really do not sound to me like any of the Texans I’ve ever known.
There are a lot of strange folks in Texas, but apathetic and not strongly opinionated are not their strong suits. I’m wondering if it is Texans you are talking to, or maybe fictional Texas characters, albeit most of them sounding character-less.
Several folks have asked if it might be just where you are in Texas, but I wonder if you’re in Texas at all. Sure doesn’t sound like any Texas I ever knew.
