15. I'm not seeing what is new or unique about this

While I do own a few guns, I'm far from an expert on this stuff. But from what I see, this is just another semi-automatic assault rifle. There have been guns like this around that used higher power rounds than an AR-15 for decades. I'm not seeing what is new about this.

I know we do have a few members here who are actually experts on this stuff, what am I missing?
