10. Don't Look Up isn't changing any minds

It is preaching to the choir in the form of a passingly ok film.

It was just an ok movie - I liked the last half hour a lot more than the previous two. But if anyone thinks people on the Right are going, "Yes, this is who is going to change my mind: Meryl Streep," I don't know what universe they're living in.

It was a little bit of holiday clapter. (Clapter is when comedians spend less time constructing good jokes and more time saying things they know their audience agrees with and will generate applause).

The people thinking it's just one of the greatest movies of the year because it's so amazing and anyone who doesn't like it just doesn't understand it.

Nah. I got it. It's just ok. And a movie dripping with disdain for the people it ostensibly wants to reach isn't achieving anything but some press.
