3. The US just doesn't seem interested in improving citizen quality of life.

Dems trying to do so face an uphill battle.

Why?

1. Racism. White people don't want to give POC a penny.

2. Americans are puritans at heart. Happiness is bad, suffering and misery are good.

3. The wealthy see all US resources as theirs and theirs alone. They aren't about to share.
