8. It is a total mess here in Germany

Only some care-givers and people over the age of 80 are currently getting vaccinated. You can only get vaccinated when the government says so, and it is forbidden to give left-over doses to anyone who wants it. They must be discarded. My wife and I are 69 (she in June, I just turned 69) this year. The Health Ministry told us MAYBE in August.

I just barely made it in and out of France last Wednesday. It may be another month before I can get back there. I usually have to be there once a week. Now they are shutting down for a month--again.
